Political circles are rife with rumours that Telangana Congress President N. Uttam Kumar Reddy and other leaders are taking poll management lessons from TDP Chief N. Chandrababu Naidu every morning.
Apparently, two hours of Chandrababu’s morning are catered exclusively for Congress leaders on how to get to booth management and ace the game. Chandrababu Naidu, who is seen as a master in political strategy and poll management, is doing his best to imbibe lessons to Congress leaders as he is serious about Prajakutami’s win.
Optimal use of cadre, efficiency and fund distribution along with mobilisation and coordination among party cadre are some skills that the Congress leaders are learning, say well-placed sources. As a senior in politics, Chandrababu is apparently using all his political knowledge to ensure that the tide turns in favour of Prajakutami.
Even with such lessons, sceptics say that Congress leaders might not be able to use Chandrababu’s knowledge diligently. “There is a lot of difference in the way TDP cadre and Congress cadre operates. TDP cadre are very dedicated. But, Congress party cadre are not that much into these activities. Therefore, it could be dicey,” said a political analyst who did not wish to be named.
With all his political acumen, can Chandrababu turn the tide in Prajakutami’s favour? December 11th will be the day to know this.
